Accelerator can do much more than just accelerate builds. It can perform its magic with much more than just make files, and the tools do to this are already included in the product and require no additional licensing costs.
If you have a single process or multithreaded application that needs to be run many times, such as a pattern and flow analysis on multiple C# projects that are part of a solution, then you could very well benefit from parallelization.
