Issue
Support bundle generation from the UI or in the background causes memory pressure and eventually OutOfMemoryError
. Controller logs might show:
java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: at com.cloudbees.jenkins.support.api.LaunchLogsFileContent.getInputStream
Resolution
Upgrade Support Core plugin to version 1519.vb_f214b_a_25a_a_5 or later. That version of Support Core is available under the CloudBees Assurance Program in CloudBees CI 2.479.2.x or later (End of November 2024 release).
