Installers for Non-Root/Non-sudo or Non-Administrator Mode

Certain CloudBees Flow installers allow you to perform installations as a non-root/non-Administrator user or a user without sudo privileges. The following table shows whether a particular installer has an option to run in this mode.

For server installations, you cannot specify different users for the agent service and for the other services (CloudBees Flow server, web server, and repository server) during the same installer session—The user who launched the installer will be the owner for all services.
