[ is an invalid path

Issue

  • Using Move/Copy/Promote to move a job, and I see "[ is an invalid path" in the destination field.

  • Cluster-wide job triggers are not working; configuration page show "[ is an invalid path" in the "Job Name" field of the trigger(s)

Environment

Resolution

There are in fact two issue that this message represents:

  1. The incorrectly rendered error

  2. The error itself

In order to resolve the error rendering issue, please update to release 2.263.2.2 or newer. See issue CTR-2560 in the release notes referenced below.
