KBEA-00062 - Visual Studio just exits when it is started from the command line with a solution

You run devenv (Visual Studio) with a solution, and the application quits immediately.

The most likely explanation for this behavior is that you are running the wrong version of devenv for the solution (meaning the solution is not the right version for the devenv you are using). Unfortunately, devenv will just quit without any message. Make sure you can load the solution in UI mode.
