New features
The following new features are introduced as part of this release:
- CasC-based enhancements
-
The following additional Configuration as Code (CasC) capabilities have been added:
-
AWS and ECR Account Creation: CloudBees Compliance now allows you to define Amazon Web Services (AWS) account configuration through CasC. DevOps teams can now provision accounts automatically without using the UI. Following a successful scan, associated Amazon Elastic Cloud Registry (ECR) repositories are automatically discovered and registered.
-
Standards Definition and Activation: Create and configure compliance standards, control domains, and controls using CasC JSON files. This includes support for test rule linking using human-readable names and automatic standard activation.
-
- Entra ID role and membership assignment
-
CloudBees Compliance now supports Entra ID group-based role mappings, enabling automatic user role and organization assignment at sign-in. Administrators can configure these mappings via the UI or CasC, ensuring secure, consistent, and centralized access control for SSO-enabled organizations.
Feature enhancements
The following feature enhancements have been made as part of this release:
- Simplified GitLab onboarding via project URL
-
Onboarding GitLab accounts via CasC has been simplified, and now accepts just the project or group URL. The system auto-resolves all required metadata such as project and group IDs, enabling seamless onboarding for GitLab Cloud and On-Prem instances. This enhancement minimizes input errors and streamlines setup.
