If the Bundle Update Timing feature is enabled, CasC users can configure the instance to install the latest bundle version if that version was skipped when that instance restarts.

If the Bundle Update Timing feature is enabled and the instance is not configured to automatically reload or skip new versions, CasC users can now skip the new bundle versions.
Together with the buttons to Restart the instance of Reload the bundle, a new button to Skip the new version appears on the Bundle update tab of the CloudBees Configuration as Code export and update page.
If users configure the option to always reload the bundle on restart, the new bundle version is skipped while the instance is up and running, but a restart will apply it.
