Rewritten to take advantage of new “artifact manager” API in Jenkins 1.532 and later. Among other benefits, this adds support for native Maven projects. When upgrading from 4.x, as a convenience the plugin automatically registers itself as an artifact manager; this decision can subsequently be revisited in the main Jenkins configuration screen.
