The internal library used by the CloudBees Analytics Plugin to manage the event data was lacking proper logic to deal with backpressure, resulting in ever-increasing memory consumption in some circumstances, like being offline.
The library is updated and configured to deal with backpressure without increasing the memory usage indefinitely by ignoring the old data in case it cannot be processed fast enough.
