CasC-based onboarding enhancements

CloudBees Compliance now supports a broader set of onboarding activities using Configuration as Code (CasC), enabling faster, automated environment initialization.

  • Organization onboarding:

    • Initialize CloudBees Compliance organizations using CasC requests, with basic validation to ensure accuracy.

  • Application setup:

    • Create applications along with environments using a single JSON definition.

    • The simplified structure reduces manual input and speeds up onboarding.

  • Account setup and plugin configuration:

    • Automatically create users and configure accounts, such as JFrog and Bitbucket, using CasC JSON.

    • Configure plugins such as Black Duck and Polaris SAST to enable security and compliance scans.

  • Scan automation:

    • Trigger scans automatically when accounts are activated.

    • Link applications to accounts directly within the CasC payload, thus reducing setup time and ensuring continuous compliance.

These updates position CasC as an alternative to manual onboarding, streamlining deployment and improving time-to-value.
