child organization

A child organization (also called a sub-organization) is an organization nested beneath a root organization in the CloudBees Unify hierarchy. A child organization has the same capabilities as its root organization: it can contain its own components, applications, and environments, and define its own policies and configurations. By default, a child organization inherits visibility into anything accessible to its parent organization, unless that inheritance is explicitly overridden. Child organizations can nest to an arbitrary depth, accommodating complex business structures.
