Single sign-on (SSO) increases security and provides a better user experience by reducing the number of required accounts and passwords. SSO for CloudBees Software Delivery Automation provides unified authentication, allowing users to sign in once to access CloudBees CI, CloudBees CD/RO, and CloudBees Analytics capabilities. From the enterprise perspective, you can configure SSO once on the CloudBees Software Delivery Automation server for the entire platform.

| For CloudBees CI, the CloudBees Software Delivery Automation platform serves as the identity provider. CloudBees CI delegates to the CloudBees Software Delivery Automation server to authenticate CloudBees CI users. Once SSO is configured in CloudBees Software Delivery Automation, you must also establish a connection to CloudBees Software Delivery Automation and enable SSO in CloudBees CI.
