Installing CloudBees Analytics and CloudBees CI to an existing CloudBees CD/RO on traditional platforms

Installations of CloudBees CD/RO on traditional platforms can take advantage of the analytics capabilities of CloudBees Software Delivery Automation.

Follow these steps in the order listed to complete the installation:

Review the Pre-installation requirements
Upgrade CloudBees CD/RO
Upgrade or install the analytics server
Install CloudBees CI on traditional platforms

Pre-installation requirements

Before starting the installation process, do the following:

Contact CloudBees Support to obtain the executable files for the CloudBees Software Delivery Automation and CloudBees Analytics installers.

Upgrading CloudBees CD/RO

The first step is to upgrade your current CloudBees CD/RO instance to CloudBees Software Delivery Automation using the version 10.1 or later installer for traditional platforms.

Upgrading or installing the CloudBees Analytics server

Upgrade or install the CloudBees Analytics server using the 10.1 or later CloudBees Analytics server installer.

Installing CloudBees CI on traditional platforms

The next step is to install CloudBees CI on traditional platforms version 2.263.4.2 or later. This step is required because you need the CloudBees Software Delivery Automation plugins, which are included in CloudBees Assurance Program (CAP) and bundled in the operations center and controller .war files.
