Is HA/HS (Active/Active) compatible with Pipeline: Stage View Plugin?

Under Manage Jenkins I see the below admin monitor warning me that I should uninstall the Pipeline: Stage View Plugin because it is not compatible with HA/HS (Active/Active), but clicking on the Uninstall button and restarting, does not uninstall the related plugins and the admin monitor is still present.

The Pipeline: Stage View Plugin is compatible with HA/HS (Active/Active) since CloudBees CI - 2.462.2.2, so if you face this issue, you have two different paths:

  • You can upgrade your CloudBees CI to release 2.462.2.2 and the admin monitor will disappear as you will be on a version that HA/HS (Active/Active) is compatible with Pipeline: Stage View Plugin.

  • If you don’t upgrade your CloudBees CI, then this issue is caused by not only having Pipeline: Stage View Plugin installed, but also by having the CloudBees Pipeline Stage View Extensions plugin installed. Therefore, you have to manually uninstall the CloudBees Pipeline Stage View Extensions plugin first. This will enable the Uninstall button from the aforementioned admin monitor under Manage Jenkins to uninstall successfully the rest of the related plugins for the Pipeline: Stage View Plugin.
