Pipeline script snippet is displayed as empty when Micro Focus Application Automation Tools plugin is installed

Issue

After an upgrade to CloudBees CI version 2.346.1.4, the pieces of code in the pipeline script snippet are not visible from the UI anymore. The pipeline code works as expected when the build is executed, but the code block is empty. This happens when Micro Focus Application Automation Tools plugin is installed in version 7.4.

Environment

Resolution

Upgrade your controller to 2.462.1.3 or later. CloudBees supports upgrading your CloudBees CI instance to a version up to one year later than your current version, as documented in Upgrade between versions. As we write this article, the oldest supported version of CloudBees CI is 2.479.1.3.

We recommend to upgrade to the latest, following the specific version guidance from Upgrading from CloudBees CI versions older than 2.452.2.3.

Workaround

Disable the Micro Focus Application Automation Tools plugin.
