Summary

CloudBees is pleased to announce the v10.11 release of CloudBees CD/RO. In this release, CloudBees introduces the following security updates, new features, and enhancements.

This release includes several upgrades to address potential vulnerabilities.

Feature updates

Third-party deployments

With this release, CloudBees CD/RO simplified the process for using third-party tools for deployment by introducing Deploy and Undeploy options to the pipeline task object.

SAML format configuration for SSO

You can now select a nameIdFormat when configuring your SAML SSO service provider.

SAML format configuration is a Preview feature.

YAML DSL

You can now export and import CloudBees CD/RO code in YAML format. The DSL IDE has been updated to support YAML evaluation.

UI improvements

This release includes UI improvements for the following CloudBees CD/RO features:

  • Release editor

  • Pipeline editor

  • User profile page to include access to the tokens page

Release editor

A new release editor UI includes:

  • A tabbed layout

  • New button labels

  • New icons for controls

  • An updated process to create new and copy existing sub releases

Pipeline editor

A new pipeline editor UI includes:

  • A tabbed layout

  • New button labels

User profile page

A link to the Access tokens page is now available on the User profile page.

Plugins

CloudBees continuously develops and improves integration plugins, which support third-party tools used across DevOps processes. With this release, CloudBees introduces an integration with JFrog Xray.

Upgrades to CloudBees CD/RO v10.11 LTS are supported from CloudBees CD/RO 9.x, 10.0.x, 10.1.x, 10.2.x, 10.3.x, 10.4.x, 10.5.x, 10.6.x, 10.7.x, 10.8.x, 10.9.x, and 10.10.x versions.
