Installing DevOptics

Prerequisites for installing DevOptics

Do the following before you install DevOptics™:

Validating your Jenkins networking configuration

  1. From Jenkins, go to Manage Jenkins > Manage Plugins.

  2. Click the Advanced tab.

  3. In the Test URL box, type

  4. Click Validate Proxy.
    This button also determines if a proxy is needed.

  5. Verify that Success displays below the URL that you entered.
    If Success does not display, you may need to clear or provide proxy details, or your network security administrator may need to add an outbound exception for your Jenkins server to "''" on port 443.

Supported platforms

DevOptics supports the following platforms:

  • Jenkins 2.107.3 and higher

  • CloudBees Jenkins Distribution and higher

  • CloudBees Core and higher

Supported browsers

DevOptics supports the following browsers:

  • Apple Safari: Version 10 and later on OSX 10.10 and later.

  • Google Chrome: Latest regular release on all supported desktop operating systems.

  • Microsoft Edge: Latest regular release on all supported desktop operating systems.

  • Mozilla Firefox: Latest regular release and latest ESR release on all supported desktop operating systems.
