Amazon Elastic Compute Cloud (EC2) is a web-scaling service that allows you to rent virtual computers and resize your computing capacity in the cloud.

The EC-AWS-EC2 plugin allows CloudBees CD/RO to manage EC2 resources using EC2's secure API. Its integration allows you to choose where your applications physically run, provides access to infrastructure resources, and automatically scales up and down as needed. The EC-AWS-EC2 plugin allows you perform the following tasks:

• Create configurations with connection information
• Query for virtual machine and configuration information
• Perform actions on instances
• Make API requests
• Create CloudBees CD/RO resources
