Metric Differences report

1 minute read

The Metric Differences report compares the performance metrics between two builds. This report provides a higher-level summary than the Annotation Differences report. The report is useful for identifying what caused a build slowdown, such as network traffic, I/O, conflicts, jobs run, commit by copy, or commit by rename. Any metric with a large difference (meaning when the absolute difference exceeds 25% of the sum of the metric values from both annotation files) is highlighted in color.

To load the second annotation file, click the image::rep-annotationdifferencesopenfilebutton.png[role="screenshot"] button and browse to select the file. The currently loaded annotation file appears on the left, and the second file appears on the right:

This report is also available from the command line. For details, see Metric Differences Report.
