Your feedback helps improve the AI Assistant for everyone. Learn how to rate responses, report issues, and suggest improvements.

Why feedback matters

The AI Assistant improves based on your feedback. When you rate responses and add comments, you help:

  • Identify what works well and what doesn’t.

  • Improve response accuracy and relevance.

  • Prioritize new features and capabilities.

  • Fix issues faster.

Your feedback is reviewed by the CloudBees team and directly influences the AI Assistant improvements.

Rate a response

Every AI Assistant response includes feedback controls.

  1. After receiving a response from the AI Assistant, look for the thumbs up and thumbs down icons.

  2. Select the appropriate icon:

    • Thumbs up - The response was helpful, accurate, or solved your problem.

    • Thumbs down - The response was unhelpful, inaccurate, or didn’t work as expected.

  3. Your rating is recorded immediately.

For more helpful feedback, add a comment explaining your rating.

  1. Select the thumbs down if the response wasn’t helpful. A comment field appears below the response.

  2. Enter your feedback, including:

    • What went wrong.

    • What you expected to happen.

    • What actually happened.

    • Any error messages you saw.

  3. Select Submit to send your comment.

Your detailed feedback helps the team understand and fix specific issues.

Provide helpful feedback

Different types of feedback help improve the AI Assistant in specific ways. Here are examples of feedback that is particularly valuable.

Report inaccurate responses

If the AI Assistant provided wrong information or navigated to the wrong page:

I asked to go to feature management, but it took me to feature flag settings instead.

Report failed actions

If the AI Assistant’s action didn’t complete successfully:

I asked to filter stale flags, but the filter wasn't applied. The page still shows all flags.

Report unclear responses

If you didn’t understand what the AI Assistant did or why:

The thought process didn't explain why it chose this page. I'm not sure if this is what I asked for.

Request new features

If you wish the AI Assistant could do something it currently can’t:

I wish I could ask 'How do I create a new workflow?' and get step-by-step guidance with citations to documentation.

Follow your feedback

Your feedback follows this process:

  1. Collected: All ratings and comments are gathered securely

  2. Reviewed: The CloudBees team reviews feedback regularly

  3. Analyzed: Patterns and common issues are identified

  4. Acted upon: Improvements are prioritized and implemented

  5. Released: Updates are deployed to improve the AI Assistant

Feedback is used solely to improve the AI Assistant. Your conversations remain private.

Follow feedback best practices

Be specific

Describe exactly what happened and what you expected.

Include context

Mention what page you were on and what you asked for.

Suggest improvements

If you have ideas for making it better, share them.

Be constructive

Focus on how the AI Assistant can better help you.

Report bugs clearly

Include any error messages or unexpected behavior.

Privacy considerations

When providing feedback:

  • Your feedback may include the prompt you sent and the AI Assistant’s response.

  • Comments are reviewed by CloudBees staff to improve the product.

  • Feedback is used only for improving the AI Assistant.
