How the AI Assistant works

The AI Assistant uses large language models (LLMs) to understand natural language and help you navigate CloudBees Unify.

The AI Assistant accesses your current page, available actions, and the history of the chat you’re in. It can also access data across CloudBees Unify based on your permissions. Your chats are saved in Chat History so you can return to them later.

How it understands your requests

The AI Assistant recognizes your intent regardless of phrasing: Go to Components, Take me to Components, and Navigate to Components all work the same. It also extracts specific details from complex requests such as Show me inactive flags in Production with the 'beta' label. Within a chat, it remembers context. After Show me inactive flags, you can enter Now filter those by "beta" label without repeating yourself. Before taking action, the AI Assistant explains what it understood from your request so you can verify it is doing what you intended. After each response, it suggests relevant next actions based on your current page, which you can select to execute immediately.
