How the AI Assistant works

1 minute read

The AI Assistant uses large language models (LLMs) to understand natural language and help you navigate CloudBees Unify.

The AI Assistant accesses your current page, available actions, and conversation history within your current session. It does not access other pages, previous sessions, or sensitive data. Refreshing the page or closing the browser starts a new session. Your conversation history is not available in future sessions.

How it understands your requests

The AI Assistant recognizes your intent regardless of phrasing: Go to Components, Take me to Components, and Navigate to Components all work the same. It also extracts specific details from complex requests such as Show me inactive flags in Production with the 'beta' label. Within a session, it remembers context. After Show me inactive flags, you can enter Now filter those by "beta" label without repeating yourself. Before taking action, the AI Assistant explains what it understood from your request so you can verify it is doing what you intended. After each response, it suggests relevant next actions based on your current page, which you can select to execute immediately.
