Run backups using cluster operations

If you have the CloudBees Backup Plugin installed on the operations center, you can create a cluster operation to back up all controllers or a subset of them at once.

To run a backup using a cluster operation:

From the operations center, select New Item.
Type a name for the cluster operation, and then select Cluster Operations.
Select OK.
Select Add Operation Controllers.
Under Source, select From Operations Center Root.
Under Filters, select Add Filter Client Controller / Managed Controller Is Online.
Under Steps, select Add Step Backup Controller.

You must have the CloudBees Backup Plugin installed on the operations center to access the Backup Controller step.
Complete the following sections:
- What to back up?
- Where to back up?
- Backup retention
(Optional) Select Advanced if you want to configure the following options:
- Skip recently modified files
- Format of backup
Select Save.
Select Run to run the cluster operation.
